Meet Ashtyn Reaugh | Video Production Intern
My name is Ashtyn Reaugh and I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado! I’m currently a junior at the University of Oklahoma where I’m studying to get my major in Marketing with minors in Spanish and Creative Media Production. Outside of school, I’m apart of the sorority Pi Beta Phi and I serve as the Director of Marketing for OU’s largest student led philanthropy, Soonerthon. Soonerthon is one of my biggest passions and has changed my life in more ways than I could have ever imagined. Soonerthon is a yearlong event leading up to a 12-hour dance marathon in March. All of the money we raise goes directly to the Children’s Miracle Network and benefits the Children’s Hospital right in Oklahoma City.
My favorite part of Videography is being able to capture moments and events and be able to create something to remember them forever. Some of the events I’ve filmed have been some of the best memories of my life and I love having a video to always look back on and remember all of the amazing opportunities I’ve had. Not only do I get to look back on these videos, but hundreds of other people get to have them and share them with friends and family.
My dream job would be running the Marketing department for the Children’s Miracle Network. This cause has quickly become such an important part of my life and I would love to be able to put my entire life into it.
My favorite quote is “Courage, dear heart”. Sometimes I think its really hard to remember to have courage in a lot of situations. No matter what I want to do day to day or in the long run, I think it’s important to remind myself to always do it with courage.
Three words to describe me would be sassy, listener, and planner.
Buzz Brand has changed me mainly on the outlook I have on marketing and on life as a whole. We are a very positive brand and I think that’s so important for businesses to promote. Especially in the world we live in today, there is so much negativity that its hard to always find the positive things. But at Buzz Brand, we only focus on encouraging and lifting up people and I think that’s how people should live every day.
